Recently Oracle has released a patch for OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 to upgrade to 11.1.1.6.2 with the major bug fixes. But once we upgrade the RPD version raises to 11.1.1.6.2 and then we cannot open this new version RPD from available OBI Client (11.1.1.5.0/11.1.1.6.0) Admin tool.
So we need to download another patch set for Admin tool (in fact, it is a full client tool for 11.1.1.6.2)
Download patch 13794002 from oracle support.
This patch contains a zip file called p13794002_111160_Generic.zip. Unzip this into a directory.
e.g.: obiee11162patches
Then navigate to /obiee111162patches/13794002/files/clients/biserver
Here you can see two client tool installers for 32-bit and 64-bit Operating systems. Install them based on your system configurations.
biee_client_install.exe (for 32 bit Operating Systems)
biee_client_install_x64.exe (for 32 bit Operating Systems

Hi Shiva,
I’ve installed 11.1.1.6.2 Administrator Tool (64 bit) but wen I open the file.rpd (developed with 11.1.1.5) I lose the default db features in physical Layer.
Then I’ve several warning in global consistency check of the model.
What could be the reason?
Do you have any suggestion?
